Thank you to all those who donated and volunteered this past Saturday at Washington Fire House for the fundraiser organized by the residents of The Grande at Riverview!
The beautiful fall day and the generous community spirit helped to make this event a great success.
Thanks to all of the community support, $2,800 was raised and will be donated to the Washington Fire Company!

Grande at Riverview residents sponsor a fundraiser
The car wash/book sale/bake sale will take place on Saturday, October 11th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Washington (Washies) Fire House on the corner of Fayette and W. Elm. Domino’s Pizza will be there and will make a $10 donation for every pizza sold! Donations will also be made by The Wentworth Group and D.R. Horton.
Volunteers and donations are welcome on the day of the event. Also, feel free to bring used books and fresh baked items to sell. Call 610-941-4448 or 610-828-3877 for more information and for drop off sites.

7th annual golf outing to benefit Conshohocken Volunteer Fire Co. No. 2
On September 17, officers and members of the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2 will hold their 7th Annual Golf Outing, a fun-filled day of golf with course contests at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, in Limerick, Pa.
Golfers of all ages and skill levels will compete in 18 holes of golf to raise proceeds for the Conshohocken Fire Company No. 2, a group of volunteer firefighters who proudly served the community since 1903.
Registration for the day’s events begins at 11 a.m. The four-man Better Ball Scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 12 p.m., followed by dinner catered by the Great American Pub at 6 p.m.
Raffle prizes are up for wins throughout the day. Golfers can participate in games at select holes, including Longest Drive contest for men and women, Closest to the Pins contest, Pot o’ Gold contest, and a Hole-in-One for a car sponsored by E.F. Moore Chevrolet Oldsmobile.

How to make a donation
The outpouring of community support for Riverwalk residents has been tremendous.
Going forward, if you would like to make a donation, we recommend that you do so at the local Red Cross or the Spring Mill Fire Department. Both of these organizations were instrumental in the rescue, comfort, safety and support of the fire victims.
